1. Starting a session

After the participant has gone through their onboarding flow (iOS, Android, Desktop), every participant lands in their own waiting room.

They are held there until you admit them into the session. Don’t worry, Lookback notifies you when a participant has joined.

You will get a notification on the top right hand corner when a participant is in the waiting room.

2. Note-taking

Designate a note-taker from your team and invite them into the observer room. Here is a blog post on Note Taking in Lookback.

When taking notes in Lookback, especially as a solo researcher, use short hands during the session to identify key moments later on in your analysis. Try I for **insight, Q for Quote, FR for Feature request.
